IMPORTANT INFORMATION

STABLES
Stables are available for this event – free for Gidge club members and $30 for non-members – on a first-come, first-served basis (cash is preferred). Anyone using a stable (including Gidge club members) are required to pay a $20 bond which is refundable if the stable is left clean after you’ve finished with it. Everyone using a stable (including club members) need to follow these steps:
  1. On arrival, find a stable, put a bucket or haynet (or horse!) in it to indicate it’s going to be used, make a note of the stable number on the wall.
  2. Visit the office (on the verandah) and let us know which stable you’d like and pay by cash or EFT (Cash is preferred for refunding purposes)
  3. Before you leave, clean your stable, take a photo of the stable including the stable number, bring the photo to the office and collect your refund.

CANTEEN
We do have a small but tasty canteen available for brekkie, lunch, snacks and drinks.  We have both cash and EFTPOS facilities available, however please bear in mind that reception in the Hills can sometimes be a bit dodgy so having cash on hand is a good idea.

$20 HELPER CASH BACK (FOR NON-GH&PC ENTRANTS ONLY)
The great thing about Gidge's Training Days is that helper duties are not compulsory. However, 'many hands make light work' and events like this need lots of hands. That's why we've introduced a $20 cash back for anyone that provides a helper.
  1. This cash back is available to anyone who is not a current member of Gidgegannup Horse & Pony Club.
  2. The helper duty cannot be completed by the rider.
  3. The maximum helper duty is 2 hours.
  4. The helper must be available at any time during the day.
  5. Helper duty tasks include dressage pencilling, arena marshalling, pole pick-up, XC observer or gear checking (gear checkers must be aware of current Pony Club Western Australia gear checking rules).
  6. The helper must be 16 years or over.
  7. The $20 cash back can be collected from the office at the completion of the duty.
If you are able to help out, please email the Event Secretary, Sarah, at [email protected].

SCRATCHINGS AND REFUNDS
Scratchings after the close of entries will only be accepted with a veterinary or medical certificate. An administration fee may apply.

If you’re at the event and decide to scratch from a class, please also notify the office so we can let the marshalls know. A full refund will be given on presentation of a vet or doctors certificate.
