Membership is open to anyone aged 5 to 25 years old.

Rallies
We hold rallies on the second Sunday of each month from February to November. Riders are placed in groups of similar riding ability. Lessons include flatwork, show jumping, cross country, novelties and horse mastership.
Parents help on a roster basis throughout the year with the setting up of arenas, canteen duty, putting equipment away and other jobs.
The canteen operates every rally; serving breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks.

Uniforms
There are two uniforms: the rally uniform is worn for rallies and when representing the Club at cross country events and tetrathlons. The competition uniform is worn whenever a rider is representing the Club in competition. A saddle blanket in Club colours - red with green trim is also required whenever representing the Club.

Gidgegannup Pony Club is a KidSport Club
The   competition uniform  consists of  an approved ASA/NZS 3838 safety helmet, riding boots (short or long - with smooth 1 piece sole), fawn or buff jodhpurs, white long sleeved shirt, bottle green tie and helmet cover, red v-necked jumper with green and white stripe on bands, pony club badge and hair net for long hair.
The   rally uniform  consists of   an approved ASA/NZS 3838 safety helmet, riding boots (short or long - with smooth 1 piece sole), fawn or buff jodhpurs and long-sleeved poly/cotton red polo shirts. ​

Certificates
We encourage our members to work through the Certificates (D through A) to improve their riding skills and extend their horse mastership knowledge.
